SUMMARY:Parish Communications Mass & Roundtable Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:We welcome those who manage the Flock Notes\, bulletins\, and social media to attend Mass\, followed by a roundtable luncheon in our Dining Room.  Let’s share best practices\, then leadership thoughts led by Father Nathan Cromly.  This will be an opportunity for fellowship and networking with other communications practitioners. There will be time for a tour of the Saint John Institute as well.\nSpace is limited! \nPlease register by July 16th so that we can prepare lunch options. \n\nAbout the Saint John Institute \nThe Saint John Institute (SJI) began in 2003 with Eagle Eye Ministries’ first retreat. Today\, SJI is a leadership institute with three ministries: Eagle Eye Ministries (inspiring young adults)\, the Saint John Leadership Institute (equipping leaders in Colorado)\, and the Saint John Leadership Network (engaging families and professionals across the US). \nFounded in 2018\, the Saint John Leadership Network aims to support business professionals with Catholic teachings. DESCRIPTION:People don’t talk to each other anymore.  We live in a world of sound bites and opinions.  People don’t sit down and discuss things in depth anymore. What if there was a place to dig deeper into the issues we face today?  At the Saint John Leadership Institute\, we are offering that opportunity.  So\, we invite you to attend this dialogue if you dare! \nOur topic this month is: Grandparents:  Can we make an impact on our grandchildren’s faith and the culture they live in? \nFather Nathan often talks about the role of the grandparent in the lives of our grandchildren\, but since he isn’t one\, let’s dive in and talk to grandparents and how we approach this ever-so-important topic.  Our panelists will be Lynn Grandon\, an extraordinary grandmother (you will hear why) and example of faith in action; and Steve McKenna\, a lawyer and board member of Grandparents4Kids\, who will share a very reasoned approach for how grandparents can impact the lives of their grandchildren and other grandchildren.
