DESCRIPTION:People don’t talk to each other anymore.  We live in a world of sound bites and opinions.  People don’t sit down and discuss things in depth anymore. What if there was a place to dig deeper into the issues we face today?  At the Saint John Leadership Institute\, we are offering that opportunity.  So\, we invite you to attend this dialogue if you dare! \nOur topic this month is: Grandparents:  Can we make an impact on our grandchildren’s faith and the culture they live in? \nFather Nathan often talks about the role of the grandparent in the lives of our grandchildren\, but since he isn’t one\, let’s dive in and talk to grandparents and how we approach this ever-so-important topic.  Our panelists will be Lynn Grandon\, an extraordinary grandmother (you will hear why) and example of faith in action; and Steve McKenna\, a lawyer and board member of Grandparents4Kids\, who will share a very reasoned approach for how grandparents can impact the lives of their grandchildren and other grandchildren. You don’t have to be a grandparent to attend!
