SUMMARY:2025 Fit Women's Hike
DESCRIPTION:Only a few spots left\, register today!  \nAre you ready for some time away from the office\, from the laundry and dishes\, or from the daily grind? Can you live without the amenities of home–like running water — to spend time in the wilderness?  Are you able to hike 3 miles with 30lbs on your back? \nThen\, join Father Nathan Cromly and other women who are up for this adventure. We will be guided by COR Expeditions on this 3-day journey (Monday and Friday are travel days)  as you challenge yourself physically and mentally and discover your strength and desire to live life as God wants you to live.  We’ll travel to Monarch Pass on the Sawatch Range and hike up to our hut where we will bunk for 3 nights with a roof over our heads\, but no other amenities like electricity or running water (we do have an out-house though!). \nCOR Expeditions will provide travel from SJI to the beginning of the hiking trail and from the end of the hiking trail back to SJI. All participants\, SJI\, and COR Expeditions staff will leave from SJI campus together. \nWhen: July 28\, 2025 – August 1\, 2025Who: Active Women Where: Lost Wonder Hut in Salida\, ColoradoCost: $1200 (SJLN Silver Membership)Part of the cost of this event is used to support the Saint John Institute. You can join in one lump payment or contact  margaret.pluta@thesji.org  to pay this on a monthly basis. If you are already a Silver Member of the Leadership Network\, this event is one of the benefits included in your membership.  If you are not already a member\, the  registration fee for this retreat will automatically enroll you in the Leadership Network.  \nTransportation: \n\nPlease do not purchase your flights until we are 30 days out from the hike\, thank you!\nSJI shuttles will be provided from the Denver International airport\, Margaret Pluta will be in touch with more details about the shuttle as we get closer to July.\nFatima House: Attendees are welcome to arrive a day early or depart a day late.
